Gurla Route on Google Earth!

For those of you who have Google Earth and are interested in seeing our climbing route through this interface, I have placemarked the camps and summit on Google's satellite images. If you do not already have Google Earth, and have some time to play with it (it is addictive!!), I highly suggest downloading this FREE program. It is, simply put, amazing! Go to http://earth.google.com/ to download and install the program, and then return to the link above to view the route overlayed on a satellite image. You will be able to zoom, tilt, and fly around Tibet like the Bodhisattva Padmasambhava, all from the comfort of your couch!
